Muscato Fruit Cocktail from HeatherChristo.com

Happy Thirsty Thursday!!!

I hope that you are all having a great week (mine seems to be flying by in a freakishly fast way). And for once I am not thinking about stress reliving drinks, I am thinking about happy, effervescent, bubbly and sweet and pretty drinks. And this Muscato Fruit Cocktail is just the ticket.

I first had this drink two years ago when we were in Greece. We were invited to a private residence outside of Athens for a special dinner, and we arrived to a lush lovely garden and trays of these gorgeous bubbly drinks. They were so simple, but so pretty and so delicious. I still remember the little cubes of cut up peaches and nectarine and berries that had been halved. Figs from their garden trees that were cut up and added. Then they were topped with chilled Muscato (just a sweet sparkling wine!). Amazing, delicious, beautiful- gotta serve this at your next party or dinner, or even just for yourself this weekend.

Not really a recipe for this, but I will tell you that I cut up (into small cubes) Nectarines, Peaches, currants, halved raspberries and blackberries and mission figs (but you could really use any combination of fresh summer fruit!) and just add chilled Muscato (but you could also use cava, prosecco or champagne!)
