Hi guys! So this week was a bit of a whirlwind. I finished Whole 30. You can read about the whole journey over here at My Whole30 Diary. But I went and got some extra results this morning. Over all I lost 5 pounds (well a little less than that) and lost 1% body fat. So not very dramatic but I think we have established some very good habits that I intend to carry over the next few months.

I sort of had a pretty gigantic milestone this last week. HeatherChristo.com just had its TEN YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!! Is that crazy or what? You should [probably check out the Chocolate Coconut Raspberry cake I made- I have to admit that it is seriously special and as always, gluten free, vegan and nut and soy free.

Did I tell you that I am headed to Greece this Summer? I am!! We had an awful ice-maker leak this past winter and now a great deal of our house has to be torn up and fixed this summer. Like we have to move everything out of the house and get lost for at least 4 weeks. I am trying not to dwell on the horrible part of it (ummmm, moving out and ripping up the house) and focusing on the mega vacation we are planning to take. And when you have to disappear off the face of the earth, there isn’t really a better place to go than Greece (for us at least). We are doing a week in Athens spending time with family (Pete’s aunts, uncles and cousins) and then a week in Mykonos with a big group of friends and family for some serious relaxation.

And then we are tagging on a third week and bringing the girls to Italy. We are doing Florence and Rome, as well as driving them out to the part of Tuscany where Pete and I got married almost eleven years ago- very romantic!! I have the girls doing research reports on different places we are going and the major sights (like the acropolis, and the coliseum and the Spanish Steps etc.) so that they get excited and will complain less when we go on tours of these things. I am hoping it works.

Anyways, to bring the trip full circle to Whole30- Pete and I kicking our fitness and diet into high gear may have something to do with those Greek beaches. The diet is not my weakness- it is definitely the working out. I am just not in the groove yet! What is your favorite workout when you have to whip things into shape? I am VERY open minded!!

Last week I did a tour of my kitchen (if you are interested in seeing where I spend almost every waking moment!)

PIA AND COCO- Please join them on Sunday at 1pm over on my facebook page where they are making Easter cupcakes!! (Should be entertaining!) They had a blast last week (video below) and now want to do it EVERY Sunday.

Lets talk Jeans. I am obsessed with my new Good American jeans. They are my favorites in my jean pile and currently fit better by a mile than any other jeans I have ever owned. I will forever have curvy hips and a butt. No matter how big or how small I am, that will never change. If you have some curves yourself- you should try these.

I have been drinking this Bone Broth and Greens Recipe EVERY DAY. I also made a batch and added cilantro, tomatillos, onions and shredded chicken and sweet potato chunks to it and I feel like I could eat it for every meal.

Pete and I are heading to New York in Monday for a couple of days. He has to work and I am there with Kitchen Aid- I will let you know what’s going on via Instastories! There should be some great dinding experiences! But that does means no FBL on Tuesday- however I have an amazing punch recipe for you on Thursday, so I hope you will join me Thursday at 1pm PT!!

In case you missed it, here are some great ideas for making delicious desserts with avocado!!
