It is probably no real secret that I love Asian flavors. Growing up in Seattle, I have very much been influenced by the Pacific Rim culture and all of the many rich Asian cultures that are represented in the area. I also grew up next to a family that was Japanese and Chinese and were owners of an iconic Asian superstore here in the Northwest. They taught me from a very young age about broadening my palate and learning to appreciate flavors that were new to me and distinctively Asian in profile.

I also lived in China for a while when I was a child and have visited many times since as my parents still spend part of their time there running a family business. It was tremendously influential in the way that my mother cooked for us and how I wanted to eat.

Now while I do not claim any type of authenticity- I do love the flavors that inspired these Asian influenced dishes- please try one- they are all fast, easy and incredibly delicious!
