Happy Thirsty Thursday!

This week has been crazy. The book came out, I set off the fire alarm at our local news station yesterday and was responsible for the entire office building being evacuated and the firemen came. (I recounted the “this sh%t only happens to me” story on snapchat- it’s still there) Pia had a little solo at mass yesterday afternoon, I have a friends and family book launch on Friday and Coco has her big opening night for Willy Wonka on Saturday. Plus it’s hot out, so I think that means I need a drink. Or 5.

So how about I drink these AMAZING Grown Up Slushies!?

Grown Up SlushiesI made these for Ree over on the Pioneer Woman’s Food and Friends Page and mmm, mmmm, mmmmmmmm…… they are SO good. Grown Up Slushies

I love the idea that they get that perfect icy smooth consistency from frozen fruit and then you can add whatever kind of booze you want (I like Vodka best) to make a very “grown up” slushie! Definitely not your garden variety 7-11 slushie, right?

For these I used strawberry, blackberry, mango and raspberry- but I think you could probably use any fruit that you like- hope you enjoy!
