Having your girlfriends over for lunch can be a really sweet way to pamper them, even if just for an hour or two. I had three of mine over in between the madness of carpooling and work for a light meal in the middle of the day. It doesn’t have to be a big deal, just something easy and delicious. I tried to make it distinctive by using mix matched antique tea cups for the soup, and pretty linen napkins. It is the little stuff that can make even the smallest occasion feel special. (A really fabulous dessert doesn’t hurt either!)
