Happy New Year and welcome to the January Challenge!
I hate to be cliché, but here goes.
This year January really needs to mark a fresh start for me. I have fallen into the over-eating-over-drinking Holiday cycle that I know I am not alone in. Actually bingeing is more like it. I never cheat with my allergies, but that does not mean that I have not been eating and drinking prolific amounts! I have a big Spring coming up and want to feel my very best.
So this January, I am not going on a diet- I am just getting back on track to the best lifestyle possible. So it’s a really clean and shiny track! And to resist not doing it (which is easy to do) I am going to hold myself accountable through YOU!!!
I am bringing you amazing clean eating recipes all of January. I mean, I am not even giving you any booze on Thursdays for my usual #ThirstyThursdays- but I will bring you fresh smoothie and juice recipes instead!
I am seriously smacking it down around here and feel free to follow along and follow suite! I’m also going to start chronicling my extra clean eating on instagram and my workouts on snapchat (heatherchristo) as well as reprising “Saturday Stuff ” for the first time in fooooreeeeever so I can source other peoples great clean eating and self care tips and recipes to share with you.
I know that when you make changes in your lifestyle that the first few weeks are the hardest- so I am here to support you and try to create a place of motivation and inspiration. If you have any special requests let me know- I think healthy easy weeknight dinners are a big request as well as soups- let me know if you are looking for anything else!
Happy New Years Guys!

After the holiday over-indulgence, I am looking forward to seeing your clean eating recipes. And, in January I am off booze, having signed-up to the Dry January Challenge, so I won’t miss Thirsty Thursdays…. not much anyhow.
Sounds amazing and always a little easier when done with others. New clean eating recipes are always welcome. Can’t wait!!!! Thanks
We love healthy salmon and vegetable recipes! Thanks!
Fish recipes would be wonderful. I have a freezer full of rockfish and tuna. Soups are great and the husband (who has a dairy allergy) has asked for cream or bisque type soups if you have anything up your sleeve.
Thank you!
