So ever since we found out that Pia has allergies a little over 6 months ago, the breakfast staple is smoothies. Like every single morning. Every one.
When a kid finds something they like, you tend to run with it- especially when they it is as healthy and low maintenance as a smoothie.
So I just quickly wanted to take this #ThirstyThursday to 1) show you that I am not ALWAYS thinking about booze and 2) to share our current favorite summer smoothie recipe.
I feel like Pia deserves a lot of the credit for this one, because she has fine tuned her favorite combo’s and takes it (very) seriously. Full disclosure- I have not had this one because I am allergic to bananas (gahhhh!!!!) But I know it is good, because is the one that they ask for the most over the last month- a sure sign 😉 So maybe try it for breakfast or as a healthy snack!

Such a pretty smoothie, love the color and the great flavors!
Thanks Laura!
Slurp!! Looks like a perfect smoothie! Pinned
Thank you Averie!!
yum! what a wonderful combo! I bet the nectarines add a wonderful flavor! Ava and I will definitely have to try this one!
Yes!! The nectarine (or a peach) adds something so sweet and fragrant and wonderful!
I use So Delicious Coconut milk. Do you think this would work instead of almond milk?
The fruit combo sounds summery good!
I know it would Karen! We use it all the time 🙂
This sounds delicious! So this could be used as a base, substituting whichever soft fruit looks good at the moment? Probably a no brainer question but I’m not good at improving. I’m a stickler for organic, especially after seeing a single non organic grape has 13 pesticides in it!!! I about fell out of my chair.

I get rude comments sometimes going through the check out line with clerks saying “Why would you pay extra for organic? They aren’t any different. ” I finally started replying back that I ” pay extra for what is not in them, not what is in them.”
Absolutely Vicki!
Peaches, Mango, anything really!
I just fell off my chair about the pesticides!!!!! thank you for the link.
This sounds delicious! I have not made a smoothie in a long time and have been meaning to. I think I should dive back in with this.
nectarines, my weakness! I’m having a moment of silence over here in the name of your banana allergy.
Seriously Karen- worst allergy ever!!!
