I know. Just the name is outrageous. They are described by the original creator of the “slutty brownie” as “oh so easy, and a little bit filthy.” Sorry. I hope you aren’t scandalized, especially since it is a perfectly accurate description.
I went ahead and took the Londoner’s original chocolate chip cookie dough/oreo cookie/brownie concoction and messed with it. Like the original used boxed cookies and boxed brownies, and I went for some favorite homemade varieties. Then I took it one step further and messed with it for Halloween. I couldn’t help myself.
I used my favorite Soft and Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe. Only, instead of chocolate chips, I chopped up a bunch of Halloween candy (snickers, milky ways and twix bars.)
Then, the cookies that inspired the whole batch of naughtiness, these ridiculous Halloween Oreos.
Then comes the rich and chocolaty chewy Espresso Brownie layer. I’m not kidding.
It’s grossly overindulgent and wonderful at the same time. Mostly wonderful. Maybe even spectacular. My kids are ga-ga for me right now. Your kids/hubby/wife/lovey/boyfriend/girlfriend/friends/neighbors/co-workers will freak too. Enjoy!
This is how you make them:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Prepare an 8×8” baking pan by lining it with tin foil.
Whip up a HALF batch of these Soft and Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies, only sub the chocolate chips for 1 ½ cups of chopped up candy bars. Set aside.
Now make a half batch of these Espresso Brownies (minus the chocolate chips), and set the batter aside.
Press the cookie dough into the bottom of the pan and smooth the top with a butter knife.
Next, line up 16 Oreo cookies over the cookie dough.
Pour the brownie batter over the top and with a butter knife, spread the batter smoothly.
Place the brownies in the oven and bake for 40-45 minutes.
Place on a rack to cool completely. Slice into 16 brownies. Enjoy!

Thanks Katrina. Indulgent enough for you?!
Fun and whimsical brownies ~ love ’em Heather!
Thanks Marla 🙂
those would be perfect for the bake sale at my kids Halloween Festival at school. I have bookmarked these!
Oh good Susan! Yes, they seem to be very popular with the kids!
Haha!!! I love the name and I love that there’s everything but the kitchen sink in them!! The orange Oreos make them extra-special. Truly slutty, perfect for food sluts 🙂
Yum!! The sluttier and scarier the better. I am totally baking these this month.
WOW! These are insane looking! My stomach is grumbling just thinking about indulging in one of these. I think I will wait until after Halloween to make these, since I will inherit plenty of candy by then. My behind can stand to wait to eat them too! Thanks Heather!
Awesome Angela! Yes- there is inevitably gobs of Halloween candy lying around after Halloween!
Yep, sure genius. Makes me wanna be slutty, too…wait what?
so great JenMarie….
Oh my, the brownies are just divine! 🙂
Thanks so much Tracey 🙂
Wowzers, these look good!
These. Look. SO. GOOD!!
Could I make whole batches of each and use a 13×9 baking dish? 🙂
Yes! Absolutely! just double everything and use more oreos!
OMG, love the name and love these brownies! 🙂
Thanks Alice! Pretty funny, huh?
I can’t wait to try these they look super easy and super yum. Thanks for sharing this.
Pinned. Need these in my life, now! Funny I bypassed those orange Oreos and just bought a pkg of the mint ones for the holiday baking season. Time is flying by!
Love the soft gooey chewy fudgy action in these!
There is no such thing as tooo slutty a’ brownie. Home run dawwwling!
lol! thanks Megan. couldn’t agree more.
I made these last year for the teachers and administrators at my son’s school and nearly every one of them has asked me in the last few days if I’m making them again this year! I will also be making them for my oldest son’s college football team for an after game/bus ride treat this weekend. I can’t wait to see their faces when they bite into them 🙂 Thanks for sharing!!!
Thank you so much Kim!! I love to hear that!
Hi Heather! These look amazing and I am so excited to make them for a Halloween party I am throwing! I was thinking I also wanted to make a batch of these for my co-workers so would it work if I made the full batches of the cookie and brownie batters and buy two boxes of oreos? If so, ideally I want to make these at the same time but I would be brining one batch to work on Friday, and need on batch on Saturday for the party. If I make both batches Thursday evening, do you think the batch for Saturday would stay good? Or perhaps I should refrigerate half the batter for the second batch and make them day of? I am concerned about the oeros possibly getting soggy if I make on Thursday night and need them for Saturday? Thank you so much! I am just so excited to make these and don’t want to ruin anything! I appreciate your help!
Hi EJ- I think they will be totally fine for Saturday!
I’ve made these twice and they haven’t been fully cooked either time. The middle sinks and is still goopy—even when cooked for 45 minutes. I’m not sure what the issue is.. I wish it would work, they look delicious.
Yes same thing happened to me!!! Even used the same size pan 🙁
Wow! I can’t wait to make these. Would they still be good without the coffee in the brownies though? Or could I use brownie mix from the grocery store?
Brownies from the store are totally fine!
