Happy #Thirsty Thurday!!! Short and sweet as it is every Thursday I am afraid. There is not always a lot to say when there are beautiful drinks to glug…

And today, Gin it is ladies and gentleman. Gin, fresh and crunchy cucumbers and red pepper laced lemonade.

Spicy Gin Cucumber Lemonade

Couldn’t be better. The perfect cocktail to be sipping on a warm summers night. Or really any night. Right?

A little bit of heat, a little sweet, a little sour, a little refreshing crunch of cucumber. A perfect cocktail. Enjoy ☺

Recipe: Spicy Gin Cucumber Lemonade

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces gin
  • 16 ounces Lemonade
  • pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • 8 thin slices cucumbers
  • ice

Instructions

  1. Fill to high ball glasses with ice cubes.
  2. Add the gin, lemonade, cayenne and 4 slices of thinly sliced cucumber and some lemon wedges. Stir well and serve immediately.

    I must admit, I’ve never been much of a gin person. I just really don’t have that much experience with it. But I was just thinking today that I could really use a good refreshing cucumber drink…was going to go for cucumber water. Maybe I’ll try this instead :)
