This past weekend, I came across something that literally rocked my world. (Being that I am pregnant, and have a sugar obsession, you can go ahead and take that with a grain of salt.)

My husband and I happened to be shopping when we randomly came across a woman with a food stand in the middle of a department store. She was giving away samples of something, which was enough to put a little speed in my step on the way over. It was caramel corn. But this was not just any caramel corn, it was like nothing I have ever tasted- and I mean that in a good way. So from what I can gather, what makes it different is several things.

The first thing is that it is baked, so there is no grease, and it has a much fluffier consistency than popcorn cooked in oil. The second is the reason I found my popcorn hating husband scarfing down the caramel corn as quickly as I was- they have somehow removed all of the kernels and hulls from the popcorn! So that means just pure popcorn and caramel flavor, no flossing.

I can stress enough how good this stuff is, and I promptly placed an order. From what I understand, this is still a pretty small company, and it is made and sold out of Eugene Oregon. Please, for your own sake- order a bag and try it– this is crazy good!
