Kitchen Items I can’t live without…

Kitchen Aid Mixer
unnamed-1

I use this almost every day. My children and my dog come running every time they hear the mixer, because they all know I am baking something yummy!
Anyone who is baking on a regular basis should consider purchasing or saving for one- it will make every baking task easier! There is also the very cool option to purchase attachments for your mixer such as pasta, juicing and others without having to buy another contraption to shove away in your cupboard.

These heavy pots, made of enameled cast iron, (which distributes heat slowly and evenly) are absolutely incredible. I got mine as wedding gifts, and they are the number one most used items (I think?) in my whole kitchen. I make soup, spaghetti, sauces, braise meats and anything else you can think of in here.

For $7 this will meet all of your straining need and then some It scoops vegetables, plucks ravioli’s and dumplings effortlessly, and helps me deep fat fry with ease.

I love these so much. You line your sheetpans with them, and bake away without a thought to burning, sticking or other terrible messes. Then you just throw the silpat in the dishwasher, without having to scour away at the sheet pan. Enough said?

Original Ceramic Swiss Peeler

At 3 for $10, these are sharp, light and cute. Oh, they are so sharp. It is fantastic to peel a vegetable with ease. And they are cheap enough that when they get dull- toss them with no guilt.
