Kids Thanksgiving Table

I still remember sitting at the kids table when I was young. It was less than desirable, the only perk being the sparkling cider that ran like water on the Holidays.

Now my kids have a “kids table.”

We have 6 little girls for Thanksgiving (can you just imagine all of the “performances“ and “fashion shows” we will be witnessing that night!?)

Kids Thanksgiving Table

**Apologies for the horrible pictures. It is like, pitch-black evening at about 11AM here right now. (Terrible.)

I needed a table to keep the kids occupied/busy/having fun while we squeezed in 10 minutes of grown up eating.

Kids Thanksgiving table

I also needed it to be on the easier side after my grown up table Fall Harvest extravanganza.

Butcher paper decorated with a sharpie was my solution. Each girl has their name written over their spot, some falling leaves to color in and of course, the all important “turkey hand” to color in with the little cups of crayons I set out.

Kids Thanksgiving Table

I made a couple centerpieces with seasonal yellow mums, and a whole bunch of chocolate turkeys and foil covered chocolate leaves.

The hurricanes I put on the table let them have “fancy” candlelight without the danger. These are deep hurricanes with tiny little votives inside.

And of course day of, the sparkling cider will be flowing into these beautiful glasses with red trees and gold leaves…

God, please bless those little children of mine, they are who I really give thanks for…
