OMGEEEEEE!!!! The Olympics start today and I am FREAKING OUT.
Ok, I will stop writing in screaming explatives. I am just trying to stress my enthusiasm.
In honor of the beginning of the 2012 Summer Olympics and the fact that I will be glued to the tube drooling over Michael Phelps insane swimming for the next several weeks, I have created a glorious Go For The Gold Cockatail!!
If you happened to catch me on doing my Olympics Party on tv last week, you would have seen me do a demo of this drink. I didn’t realize how many of you like a cocktail as much as I do, but your emails have told me otherwise! So here you go ladies and gentleman- another cocktail recipe…
This is how you make it:
Using a fluffy brush, lightly brush the martini glass with the luster dust.
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and pour in the vodka, the powdered sugar and the lemon juice. Shake vigorously and strain into the prepared martini glass.
Garnish with the lemon wedge and a shake of edible gold glitter if available.
