There is just nothing like sitting on the couch eating burgers and glugging milkshakes while watching world-class athletes perform at the very top of their game.
That is how the Olympics are going for us so far. We eat junk food and are glued to the tv. Jeez.
Pia asked me if I wanted to be in the Olympics, maybe for biking? Does anyone else think that is so freaking funny?! I told her maybe 2016…
Today, I whipped up this Banana, Caramel and Sea Salt Milkshake. I was inspired by Fran’s Chocolate Caramels sprinkled with sea salt.
When I combined a couple of those with brown butter caramel ice cream, a ripe banana, some cold milk and a sprinkle of sea salt- I was met with pure joy.
To make this milkshake, puree everything in a blender until smooth and pour into a chilled mug.
Then top with fresh whipped cream and serve with a straw.

Just checked the dictionary. Under the word Decadent was a link to this post. What an absolutely wonderful accompaniment to the Olympics…let them do without sweets; we’ll eat their share while we watch them! 🙂
