This is the newest addition to the family, our 10 week old King Charles Cavalier “Wilbur”. We are obsessed.

He is officially the baby. Like I’ve taken to pretty much swaddling him and walking around like I have a newborn. He will probably need lots of therapy.

In the mean time, we are busy having our hearts melted with puppy love. Stay tuned for lots of my regular posts, only peppered with pictures of this darling little pup…

10 ways getting a new puppy is like having a new baby (if you are crazy, like me):
– You fall in love with them the minute you hold them.
– They poop 6 times a day and pee twice as much.
– You sleep near them, and wake up at the flutter of their eye lash.
– You hold them while they are sleeping and just stare at them for hours.
– You coo and talk to them in really weird high pitched voices.
– Everything they do is sooo cute and miraculous.
– You are sleep deprived.
– You can’t seem to get anything else done but caring for them.
– Your human baby (3 year old) is acting up because the new “fur” baby is getting all of the attention.
– All of the extended family is stopping by to meet the “new baby”.
