1. Raspberry Pomegranate Champagne Cocktail

Holy Cow!!! The number one viewed recipe of the year. People sure got excited about this cocktail, and I can understand why. It’s so pretty and festive and incredibly versatile. It would be lovely at a baby shower, summer wedding or Holiday fete!

2. Pork Chili Verde

Perennial Favorite right here. Tried and true best chili for using up leftover pulled pork. It is beyond flavorful and completely delicious. The addition of this salsa verde takes it over the top.

3. Caprese Soup

The tomato basil soup base of this concoction is the best staple tomato soup. While it’s made from scratch, it is easy and fast to make and I love to make big pots and send it to school in a thermos for my kids. Sometimes it even hits the dinner table with a grilled cheese sandwich. Or of course, you could just top it with crostini, pesto and melted mozzarella and watch the cheese melt and streeeeeetch!!!!

4. Skillet Baked Stuffed Rigatoni

Pasta stuffed with cheese and smothered in tomato sauce and baked. In a skillet. Which makes it a one pot comfort food meal with spectacular eye appeal.

5. Fried Nutella Banana Hand Pies

I made these for my daughter Pia who is obsessed with Nutella! Melting hazelnut chocolate spread and bananas in crispy fried pie dough. Need I say more.

6. Strawberry Jello Pie

This one makes me giggle. I made it for Pete in 2012 so that he could relive his childhood loved jello pie. I never in a million years, I never imagined that I would love it too. I guess you guys felt the same way as me!

7. Slutty Brownies

These are the craziest, most indulgent and sweet crazy treats ever. Period.

8. Three Day Juice Diet

Ok. Welcome to my life starting January 2nd. I am going to roll at least 3 days with this, maybe 5. A favorite for years here because of its effectiveness and what I feel are tasty recipes, especially for a detox diet!

These were designed to be an awesome side at the holidays, and that they are. I feel like they are kind of a fast and easy au gratin. Perfect accompaniement for special occasion meals or just a great Sunday night.

10. Spicy Tomato Lentil Soup

I love that this was a favorite, because this is a real life kind of recipe. The kind that you could throw together for a great lunch or dinner with only a few minutes to spare. And what results I s a delicious and very flavorful soup that is also incredibly hearty and healthy.

11. Chipotle Shrimp Tacos

This was one of those simple recipe that was a pinterest sensation! I guess everyone is into 20 minute weeknight meals, and who can blame them!?

12. Asian Chicken Salad with Honey Sesame Dressing

Salads are (strangely?!) one of my favorite things ever. I love that this salad from 2012 made such a splash this year. The dressing and the bright and fresh veggies make the salad special and a regular in my family.

1. Heirloom Tomato Pizza

Simply jaw droppingly gorgeous if I do say so myself, and has the very best of the Summer flavors all in one pizza.

2. Kale Salad with Lemon, Almonds and Pecorino

A rip off a a famous New York restaurants pizza, and probably my most regularly eaten salad of the year.

3. Peanut Butter and Jelly Donuts

I’m not sure these need a lot of explanation.

4. Smoked Salmon, Pea and Goat Cheese Crostini

I can’t get over how pretty these are! Not to mention the stellar flavor combination and the pure essence of Spring all in one bite!

5. Caramelized Banana Sticky Buns

Kin dof on par with my #3 explanation.

6. Crispy Fish Tacos

Cripsy, fried shell and delicately cooked tender white fish make for amazing gourmet tacos that definitely kick “taco night” up a notch or 10.

7. Smores Ice Cream Pie

For any ice cream/chocolate/marshmallow/graham cracker crust lovers in your life, this is the ultimate summer treat.

8. Lobster Grilled Cheese Sandwich

I mean, what can I say. It’s lobster, cheese and herbacious butter stuffed in a squishy white bun and then melted. really.

9. Coconut Tart

Coconut crust, white chocolate, coconut cream and whipped cream topped with the most luscious ripe figs ever. This thing knocks me out.

10. Chocolate Zucchini Coconut Cake

Moist, moist, moist (sorry for those who hate that word), but it means something with cakes. I love the coconut and the zucchini and the rich dark chocolate. The glaze is the capper.

I drank a vat of this soup this fall, and I can’t stop thinking about how I want more.

12. Kale Pesto Pizza with Goat Cheese

I ate this whole pizza myself and despite the fact that I probably can’t get Pete or the kids to eat this with me again, I think I might just make myself another. I am seriously thinking about it the pizza OFTEN. Weirdly delicious.

13. Brussels Sprouts Grilled Cheese

Ok. Speaking of weirdly delicious. Brussels Sprouts, onions and melted cheese on toasty bread. I will eat these regularly for the rest of my life.

14. Bahn Mi Pizza

This is a bahn mi sandwich on a freaking pizza. how cool is that!??!! I just can’t get over how good this was and how spectacular it looks and the presentation and novelty factor just amp it up. amazing.

15. Peach Caramel Cake

I thought about this recipe for years and years. When I finally nailed it it was a heavenly, glorious moment. H-E-A-V-E-N-L-Y. do it.
