Hi guys. I am spending #ThirstyThursday here in New York. It’s our last day, so I am hustling the kids around and squeezing in some last minute work stuff before we head back to Seattle tomorrow. But given the day of the week, I guess I am going to have to have a cocktail too… I am going out in search of something awesome that I can bring back to you for a future Thursday post!
IBut for today we have a Cherry Bramble. I know that a “bramble” is usually made with blackberries, so this drink name doesn’t actually make any sense. But it’s #ThirstyThursday, so we are just going to go ahead and look past that.
Basically, I took a Gin Blackberry Bramble and swapped out the berries for the last of this summer’s gorgeous cherries. This is the most simple and amazing summer drink if you are a gin lover.
Plus, it’s just so pretty!!! I feel like you should have friends over this weekend and roll out a platter of these- don’t you think?

You food photography is just stunning!! This drink looks so refreshing and delicious – perfect for the warmer weather 🙂 Pinned.
Mmm such a yummy drink! This sounds great!
These are gorgeous! Thank goodness it’s Thirsty Thursday 🙂
I’m guessing bourbon and gin are the same thing? Either way the drink sounds amazing and I want to try it!
Thanks
They are not the same thing. Not even close. But I would guess it’s supposed to be gin since that’s what it’s tagged as. I think it could be good with either now that I think about it.
I love this!!! Such beautiful color, too!!
This sounds like the perfect weekend drink! Now I just have to not eat all the cherries between now and the weekend… 🙂
Ha! I know Eileen- that was the hardest part- saving cherries for the cocktails!
So pretty, love the cherries!
What a gorgeous drink! I can even see a non-alcoholic version being pretty incredible too, right?!
Hi,
There appears to be two errors in the Cherry Gin Bramble recipe. The ingredient list has gin and lime juice, yet the instruction portion says to add lemon juice and bourbon.
Terrri
Thanks Terri! I fixed it 🙂
superb
I made this hoping it would taste like a cherry bramble I had at a bar in the city but unfortunately I didnt quite get the sweet cherry taste hitting the right spot. I wonder if maraschino syrup would be a good addition?
