Halloween Fun
Hi guys, I just thought I should share some Halloween Fun today since we are only a few days away from the big spooky day!
First of all, if any of you missed Pia’s Halloween segment she did a few weeks ago- you gotta see this. She did not practice, she was TOTALLY calm and confident and my favorite part are her voice inflections. So funny. Also- some cute ideas for Halloween!
Can’t help myself. Anyone remember this? “Coco-au-vin” #2011
Also, I must draw your attention to this very cool movement, the Teal Pumpkin Project. There are SO many kids out there with food allergies (both of my own children included), that this is becoming more and more meaningful. (Think how many kids are allergic to nuts, peanuts, dairy, soy and wheat. That pretty much leaves almost nothing safe. ) If you put a teal pumpkin outside your house, it just lets trick or treaters know that you also have an option for allergic kids.
I know a friend who got some cool sparkly pencils and another that is passing out plastic fangs and spider rings. I haven’t decided what mine will be yet- but I promise something cool!!! I am also going to hand out gluten free candy too. Check out the list of candies that are actually GF- you might be surprised.
Cocktails: Halloween is on a Friday night this year, which pretty much ensures that you need some of these. Right???
Kids Drinks: (lets not forget about the kids…)
Sparkling Blackberry Apple Cider
Bloody Guts Blackberry Halloween Punch
Treats: (I mean besides the face paint and the candy bars, this is what it’s really all about, right??)
Salted Vanilla Caramel Chocolate Apples
Décor: Ideas for your own haunted house or spooky party…
Leftovers: (what to do with all of that leftover Halloween camdy…)
Chocolate Snickers Bar Monkey Bread

How fun! You have the best ideas Heather!!
Oh and Pia is just too amazing! She obviously has her Mama’s grace. xo
I’m giving out Tattoo’s for Halloween. I think it’s a great Trick-or-Treat Alternative. Found at Aldi’s, a box of 20 individual boxes, each have 12 small tattoos. No Allergies, No Calories, and more fun for the children.
Love all of these! Great inspiration, as I have yet to plan anything cute for Halloween! Oops 😉
Very cute segment! I love how Coco just keeps doing her thing while you and Pia are talking. 🙂
ol! I thought the whole thing was pretty funny Terry!
Very ingenious indeed. Love all the ideas and recipes. I’m far from a kid anymore but I really do love Halloween. Thanks a bunch!
