I looooove spiced apple cider, and a few years ago I discovered Spice PEAR Cider (Thank you Trader Joes!) and was completely smitten.
It is just slightly different and possibly even better- soooooo good.
This is so simple but it is the most wonderful fall and winter cocktail to snuggle up to on a stormy evening and Bourbon is the best way to take advantage of the seasonal cider.
We have a third man down here (it’s Coco) so I am simmering up a batch of this with extra booze to help Pete fight off the sick storm. I recommend you do the same and create a hostile environment for germs in your body while making your tummy oh so happy!
****I know that this is not a printable format- I am dealing with a glitch in the system and will fix it ASAP!
Bourbon Spiced Pear Cider
4 ounces bourbon
12 ounces Spiced Pear Cider (you could also use apple cider)
½ cup pear, thinly sliced
In a pot bring the spiced pear cider to a simmer. Add the bourbon and simmer 1 minute longer. Divide between two glasses and garnish with fresh pear slices.

️Yum! This really makes me look forward to the cool weather on the way and sitting by the fire. Hope your hubby is feeling better soon. This should help perk him up!
