Happy Thirsty Thursday Guys!
Things are going a little better around here with my poor brain. Some of the fog has definitely lifted and I am getting out and doing stuff, so that is a big improvement!
Plus, I have all my presents wrapped and I made a couple hundred cookies last night for a Vegan-GF Christmas cookie class that I am hosting this Sunday at the Pasado Safe Haven Animal Sanctuary. If you are in the Seattle area, come join me and the little girls for cookie baking and decorating as well as a tour of the farm!
OK- now I get to share this really pretty and refreshing cocktail. Tequila, a splash of cranberry juice and cold blood orange soda are garnished with fresh mint- I am obsessed!
This is inspired by the trip to Mexico that we took a few weeks ago and reminiscent of a paloma- just less sweet and with the perfect addition of mint. I am planning to serve these at the ugly Christmas sweater party that we are having tomorrow! (check instagram for all the sweater pics!!) ALSO!!! Look for my Holiday Decorations House Tour on Instagram on Friday as well- I will post the decorations on the blog this weekend too, for those of you who want to take a look and are not on instagram.
Ok! Enjoy your day and see you back here tomorrow!
- ice
- 2 ounces tequila

- chilled blood orange soda (I used san pellegrino canned blood orange sodas)
- fresh mint
- In the bottom of a sugar rimmed glass filled with ice, add the tequila and the splash of cranberry and stir. Fill the rest of the glass with cold blood orange soda and garnish with fresh mint. Serve immediately.
