Cherry Frosè from HeatherChristo.com

Have you ever put a bottle of Rosè in the freezer to chill it and then you get busy chatting and drinking something else and you forget about it for a little too long and then one of two things happens:
1) It freezes completely and shatters a bottle in your freezer and you are just so bummed out because it’s the biggest mess ever and you have just lost a perfectly good bottle of wine.
2) You time it really well and only half the bottle has frozen and when you pour it you get this insanely delicious slushy rosè.

With a hot sunny holiday weekend ahead of us, lets just make that happen on purpose!

Not only are we making slushy frozen rosè (otherwise known as Frosè!!) but we are kicking it up a notch by adding cherries!!

So you do have to think ahead on this one, so try to anticipate how much you and your friends drink! But I literally just dumped the bottle of rosè and the cherries into a blender and pureed on high and then poured into a large Tupperware (freezer friendly!)

You can then scrape it later with a fork and make a granita type situation, or you could break into chunks and dump it back in the blender (that is what I did) and serve it like a frosty frozen drink!

Let me also suggest that you could turn this mixture into ice cubes (by just pouring straight from the blender into ice cube trays- and then serve those with regular chilled rosè. Pretty and effective!
