Happy Thirsty Thursday!!
I am desperately trying to enjoy the rest of the summer to the MAX since I can already see all the signs of fall coming here in Seattle. My cream colored hydrangeas are turning pink and the blooms are winding down on most of my flowers. Also, there are like a million spider webs outside- always a good sign that cooler weather is coming. Wahhhhh!!!!! It’s too soon!!! I need the sun for just a little bit longer please…
And what better way to enjoy the rest of the summer than with a cocktail in hand!!??? Especially one that takes advantage of the ripest, juiciest peaches that we still have in season.
Add some tequila, sparkling peach soda, bitter grapefruit juice and a splash of tart lime juice and you will have the most delicious Peach Paloma- everything you need for this weekend!
- ⅔ cup fresh grapefruit juice
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 4 ounces tequila blanco
- 12 ounces natural peach soda, chilled (I used IZZE brand)
- Fresh peach wedges for garnish
- Fresh peach wedges for garnish
- Fill two tall glasses with ice.
- Add the grapefruit juice, the lime juice and the tequila and stir. Top with the chilled peach soda and stir well. Garnish with little peach slices and serve immediately.

I saw you photographing these on Gaby’s Instagram story and was so anxious to see the recipe! I love all-things peach, and definitely need to whip these up to enjoy the rest of peach season! I’m in the same boat as you – soaking up as much of the warm weather as possible before fall hits! Cheers!
These palomas are BEAUTIFUL!!!
What are the colored things floating around in the glass. Very pretty but I don’t know what they are.
