We have a full week of celebrating going on here in honor of our little Coco’s new tv show premiering this coming Friday! Coco plays Olivia Duran, the younger sister of Gabby Duran on the new Disney Channel show Gabby Duran and THE UNSITTABLES! It airs Friday nights at 9pm on the Disney Channel. I know that this looks like a kids show, but honestly it is so well written that it is definitely a family show. Adults, you will also enjoy it- great humor.

Gabby Duran, the main character discovers that the small town she, her mother and younger sister (COCO!!) just moved to is inhabitted by aliens!!! She quickly earns a spot as their babysitter and the adventures that follow are so much fun. In honor of the aliens, Coco and I made SPACE PUNCH!!!

Space Punch

We thought that this was such a cute (and very easy!) way to make punch super kid friendly, delicious and interactive. This would be awesome for a kids space themed birthday party, or of course for a Gabby Duran viewing party!!

The silicon sphere ice cube molds are very easy to find these days- I know they sell them at several grocery stores near me, and are definitely available on amazon. I made them in batches so I didn’t have to buy 4 molds! they just take a few hours to freeze and I made them spread out over a few days when I would remember to swap them out and then stored the “planets” in the freezer until they were ready to be used.

Now to talk about the punch bowl and glasses!! I have a plain punch bowl and high balls, and I just ordered a multi pack of mettalic glass markers that easily washed off when we were done! We went space themed all the way but you see how you could decorate for any occasion.
