Hi everyone! Happy Saturday and I hope you are having a great weekend? Ours is super chill as to be expected while on Whole30. By the way, if you have not seen it yet, I am doing a day-by-day diary of my Whole30 experience/food journal. If you have ever considered doing it- this is for you! I have been real chatty over there so that explains my lack of Saturday Stuff last week ☺
Pete and I are almost to the half way point of Whole30 and tonight will be the second time that we are going out in that time. But the first was dinner with friends, and tonight is the real test. We are going to a cocktail party and then a performance with Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. All of this fun stuff, but with no drinking!!!!
Goodness… It will certainly be a first for us.
Pete was actually supposed to be in Cleveland with Pia this weekend for a fencing tournament but she has been so sick off and on the last few weeks that we decided to pull her from it, and I know that while disappointing, it was the right choice. So in place she is going to a dog show in Seattle on Saturday morning (cute right?)
With doing Whole30 I decided to jump head-long back into working out too. That has been an ugly process! Worse than the diet even! I have been doing Orange Theory, going to the gym, walking and I intend to get back to Pure Bar as well. But a girlfriend has convinced me to go to a spin class tomorrow (Sunday) and I am so scared. Do any of you spin?
Plus, I got these new feather light Nikes and I love them! They are making workouts better.
I am also a huge believer in cute workout clothes- what are your favorites?
Who has seasonal depression recommendations!? The people of Seattle are down and out when it comes to sunlight and Vitamin D. It sort of feels like we live in black and white lately- it is literally that gray. In fact they just let us know yesterday that Seattle has received a grand total of 30 hours and 51 minutes of sun since October 1st. You guys. That is so, so, so bad. Excuse me while I go pop some more supplements. But I am trying to be positive as signs of Spring are finally popping up. You can check out my instastories where I am often going for walks and tracking the progress of the season through signs of spring. Yeah- I’m desperate.I also made my way to Pike Place the other day and stocked up on tulips so that I could make the house feel more cheerful!
Also- in my continual wish for it to be Spring, I totally have been into paiinting my nails done in pretty fresh colors. It makes me feel better. My new favorite Spring nail polish colors are:
Lavender, coral and the prettiest shade of pink.
OK, here is a facebook video that I did this past week- look for more this Tuesday and Thursday at 3pm!

Seattle’s winter has been the worst! I finally purchased the light as I have been feeling down. I love your Saturday stuff posts and hope you post them more often, as I love finding the sources to your favorite products!
