And if you want something besides turkey soup today, I have the most incredible thing EVER. Mulligatawny Turkey Tacos. Remember Mulligatawny Soup?? And the soup Nazi from Seinfeld. That is all of that but rolled into a Taco.
These are INSANE. I promise. Pete was looking at me all crazy as was a friend of mine and then they were like fighting me for the last taco. I should have made a double batch. Try them. Please.

Recipe: Mulligatawny Turkey Tacos
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil
- 1 small onion, small diced
- 1 tablespoon curry powder
- 2 cups turkey meat, cooked and shredded
- ½ cup water
- kosher salt
- 8 corn tortillas
- For Garnish:
- Asian pear sliced into matchstick pieces
- Curley Parsley
- Pomegranate Seeds
Instructions
- In a medium pan, over medium heat, melt the coconut oil. Add the onion and sauté until soft and translucent about 5 minutes.
- Add the curry powder and stir into the onions. Add the turkey meat and stir. Add the water and stir to combine.
- Gently cook the turkey until the water has cooked off and you have a moist curry turkey combination. Season to taste with kosher salt.
- Meanwhile, heat the corn tortillas in a dry pan.
- Divide the hot curry Turkey combination between the tortillas. Top them with sliced Asian pear, a little parsley and a sprinkling of pomegranate seeds. Serve immediately.
