Lots of people overlook the cranberry sauce. It’s easy to do, since lots of cranberry sauce is reminiscent of a jelly blob. Or at least I didn’t learn to love cranberry sauce till I was an adult, and now I like coming up with new ways to make it a beloved Thanksgiving condiment.
Last year I made a sweet and savory Cranberry Chutney, and this year I made a sweet and spiced cranberry sauce that is not only incredibly delicious with Turkey, but equally amazing served hot over some vanilla bean ice cream. Seriously. Had to share it…
I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend and spending lots of time with friends and family. XOXO, H

This looks so tasty! I usually make an Apple Cranberry sauce but I will be making yours for our little dinner the Sunday after Thanksgiving. I mentioned your recipe on my blog this week. Check it out if you like:

I made this today with the Harry & David pears I received and it tastes WONDERFUL! I modified the recipe a bit as I am using it as a jam sort of spread for the pumpkin biscuits you have. I mash it up a little bit and add ~2 tbsp of coconut oil. I didn’t have cinnamon sticks so I used ground cinnamon which did change the color, so I used more cranberries, about 16 oz instead of 12 oz. The coconut oil adds a little more sweetness & flavor to it. I also added 2 pears as they are super ripe! Mostly friends and family enjoyed munching on the luscious pears 🙂 Thanks so much!
