Happy Labor Day Weekend! So excited that this long weekend is finally here! What are you guys doing this weekend? Camping? Grilling? Throwing Parties? Lying about and making yourself cocktails?
I know I have been sharing that my little brother is getting married this weekend- so I am in full blown party mode.
(You can check out on instagram stories as I decorate our house for a big pre-wedding party tomorrow!)
But with lots of friends and family in town, we are already starting the happy hours at our place and I made a batch of this Blackberry Fig and Bourbon Punch for friends tonight. So delicious, so pretty and it makes the very most of the gorgeous figs and blackberries that we are lucky enough to have in season right now.
So if you are at home, whip up some for your friends- or even just yourself! Have a great weekend everyone and I will see you back here Monday!!
- 4 (12 ounce) chilled natural blackberry sodas (I used IZZE brand)
- 1 cup bourbon
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- 1 cup fresh blackberries
- 1 cup fresh sliced figs
- In a large pitcher filled with ice combine all of the ingredients. Stir gently to combine.
- Add several blackberries and figs to each glass and pour the punch into the glasses. Serve immediately.

Tried this today and it was a ! Hardest part was finding some figs and had to make a trip to Whole Foods and found some.
How pretty is this?!!
What are the flowers/petals you are using as garnish in these photos??
Hi Olivia- they are edible marigold petals.
would this work without the bourbon? (i would like to offer the bourbon on the side as an option)
