When we had our Ugly Christmas Party Potluck Dinner Party (classy! Huh?!) last weekend, I made The Ultimate Vegan Appetizer Platter. I thought that it would be easy and light and something that everyone could snack on and enjoy. And it was a serious hit!
If you are still planning to entertain the rest of the month, you could either pull together the Ultimate Crudite Display or put together this Vegan Appetizer Platter and watch your friends freak out!
The great news is that you would have something for any of your friends who have dietary restrictions (vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free and egg free!) and if there is a nut allergy you could just skip the almond ricotta and then you have a nut free platter as well!
Here is what is on the platter:
Spicy Olive Tapenade: Kalamata Olives, spicy red pepper flakes and fresh herbs combine with a hint of fresh orange zest for the most delicious topping!
Classic Hummus: Always delicious, this classic creamy hummus loaded with tahini is the best. Featured in Pure Delicious.
Smoky Artichoke Hummus: I LOVE this tahini free take on the original, packed with artichoke hearts and smoked paprika.
Beet Hummus: An annual favorite at my parties. I love it not only for it’s earthy winter flavor but for how festive the color is!
Soft Almond Ricotta in a bowl of Basil Pesto
Hot Marinated Olives: simply combine mixed olives, olive oil, red pepper flakes, bay leaves, lemon zest and a few cloves of garlic over medium heat until simmering and then transfer to a bowl and serve immediately.
Gluten free/vegan crostini
Carrots, radishes and fresh endive leaves

That is a breath taking, show stopping, ah-MAZing presentation. Wow. Just wow. (Stunned silence, then more wow).
THANK YOU! so nice Christine!
Absolutely stunning. I’ve pinned it right next to your crudite display which, btw, has been burning up my account. Everyone and their brother has been pinning it genius lady.
Thank you so much Laurel!!!
Heather, I just HAD to leave you a message about how STUNNING this is! You are so talented! I’m sure this was a serious hit – it’s so beautiful! I know it’s delicious as well – all of it looks so appetizing for even those that aren’t vegan!
I’m pinning this immediately!
Thanks so much for sharing this – I will be making this platter soon!
