Happy Thirsty Thursday!!! Are you getting ready for a big summery weekend and a little fathers day celebrating?? You should probably be a good daughter/son/wife/husband or whatever and make the father of your child or your father or your father-in-law or your grandpa a big fat cocktail. I have a whole host of drinks you could choose from!
But, if you (or the father of your child or your father or your father-in-law or your grandpa) are a classic Gin and Tonic lover, I feel like it might be time to try something slightly new. It might just be the perfect refreshing summer twist on your favorite!
A little apricot jam, some fresh apricot slices and tart lime wedges will totally transform this with just a little sweet and sour- cheers!
- 2 teaspoons apricot jam
- 2 ounces gin
- 6 ounces tonic water
- ice
- Lime slices and fresh apricot wedges for garnish
- Add the apricot jam to the bottom of a highball glass. Fill the glass with ice and add the gin and tonic, stir the jam into the drink and garnish with lime and apricot slices.
