NEW VIDEO!!! this one is all about making one of my FAVORITE fall mocktails/cocktails, perfect for Pre-Thanksgiving drinks!
Hi Guys! I am writing from my old haunt of San Francisco! I popped down here with Pete for less than 24 hours, but i am still soaking up how incredibly WARM it is and so beautiful. I can’t even get over the views, and how flooded with nostalgia I am everytime I come here.
Ok- speaking of smiling- check out these beautiful Sparkling Blackberry Apple Ciders. We still have blackberries that are easy to get in the Northwest, and our apples are in peak season. However- I feel like this is something you could have at time of year, by just using frozen blackberries- it would be just as delicious.
This drink is the best because it just as delicious as a cocktail and a mocktail! So you can really make two batches, or one and spike as neccesary!
In fact, I totally see this as something I am going to serve on Thanksgiving. It is just fresh pureed blackberries mixed with no sugar added sparkling apple cider- so Pia can have it too! And I do have to add the fact that if you are a grown up that likes bourbon, you should DEFINITELY add some
Recipe: Sparkling Blackberry Apple Cider

- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 bottle sparkling apple cider.
- Fresh blackberries to garnish

- Add ice to 6 glasses and add a heaping spoonful of blackberry puree to each glass.
- Add the cider to fill the glass and stir gently. Garnish with fresh blackberries
Preparation time: 5 minute(s)
Number of servings (yield): 6
This looks incredible! I’ve said it before, you make the best drinks, Heather! I think I may have to spike this with a little Chambord just to see how that would work, too
Pinned!
Oh Thank you Averie! Well, this one is so simple- it does everything on it’s own! Chambord sounds delish!
This is the perfect “summer meets fall” cocktail. I will definitely be adding bourbon to mine…:-)
Me too Liz
These look so lovely!! Also, enjoy the rest of your trip!
Thank you Katrina!
This looks gorgeous! I love the color. I bet a little St. Germain would be really good in this too. I’m smiling thinking about you going through the airport getting speed! Glad your scooter is keeping you sane

gotta keep laughing about it!
You go girl!

I would’ve never thought to combine blackberries and apple cider. I bet the sweet and tart go great though!
Ha! At least you are trying to make the most of your recovery period and have a little fun. And this drink sounds delish! I love the color of it. Enjoy Vegas!
