Kicking off Thirsty Thursday with a re-vamped Autumn Sangria perfect for fall festivities!

Autumn Sangria from HeatherChristo.com

I am in New York right now, but eagerly looking forward to getting home and doing Halloween prep. (please join us for our facebook live Halloween Extravaganza next weekend!) We are picking out pumpkins this weekend, making treats and waiting for the costumes to arrive with major anticipation! Halloween is seriously one of the most exciting nights of the year for them, but also for me ☺

I am secretly (or not so secretly) obsessed with the costumes and the decorations and all of the treats. In years past I have documented how I would like to sit down with a vat of peanut butter cups and a bottle of red wine and enjoy the evening. Now- I will replace the candy with these, and this year I am swapping in my plain old wine for this beautiful Autumn Sangria.

Filled with apple wedges, figs and crunchy pomegranate seeds, the blend of chilled prosecco, brandy and pomegranate juice is wonderful and just lightly sparkling.
