Crispy Oven roasted Broccolini with just a touch of lemon! I could eat a whole pound of broccolini, simply dressed in olive oil, lemon and kosher salt by myself- but the sauce is absolutely amazing. You could add any combo of herbs to the sauce: chives, parsley, basil, cilantro- they are all delicious.
So with the sauce, I could probably eat two pounds. Seriously.
Whether or not you want to try this out for Thanksgiving or a Tuesday night- this is a simple and very delicious veggie dish that will make you happy you made it!
- Roasted Broccolini:
- 1 pound broccolini, trimmed
- 1 lemons zest and half a lemons juice
- ¼ cup olive oil
- Kosher salt
- Herb-Tahini Sauce:
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tablespoons tahini
- 1 cup loosely packed packed herbs: I used flat leaf parsley and basil
- 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- kosher salt
- Pomegranate seeds for garnish
- To Roast the Broccolini:
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Lay the broccolini on a sheet pan. Drizzle the oil over all of the broccolini and toss to coat. Sprinkle the broccolini with kosher salt and the zest of one lemon. Squeeze the juice of half a lemon over the broccolini and then roast the broccolini for 10 minutes.
- For the Sauce:
- In the jar of a blender combine all of the ingredients and puree until smooth and creamy. If you need a tablespoon or two of water that is normal! Season to taste with kosher salt.
- To serve, arrange the broccolini on a platter and drizzle the sauce generously over the broccolini. Sprinkle with the pomegranate seeds for garnish.

I am going to make the Roasted Broccolini with Herb Tahini Sauce for Thanksgiving this year. Question – Where do you find Herb-Tahini Sauce?

Thanks for this recepie, specially the sauce which is now a stable for every time i roast vegetable although i do some changes each time. mainly use the tahini and red wine with some mustard for tangy sauce
